Normally if you mention BAFTA and videogames in the same sentence you’d be met with howls of derision and most likely a smack in the chops. Which is no surprise if you’ve ever watched the videogame BAFTAs on TV.

However on the October 27th BAFTA Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and the shadow minister for culture will be speaking at the London Games Conference – good news for the UK games industry?
