Leet Games Blog is one year old today!
To celebrate, here’s Dom Sacco’s round-up of your favourite blog posts…
Leet Blog originally came from an award-winning magazine concept, which was devised by a Bournemouth University journalism student in 2006 – Dominic Sacco.
Due to the lack of time and resources, Dom decided to turn it into an online blog where he could share his views and ideas surrounding the video game industry.
At first it was updated monthly, then weekly, and now occasionally every few days! There’s been 30 blog posts and 41 comments since March 23, 2008, and on average Leet Blog receives 242 views per day.
Thanks for your continued support, and here’s to many more years of Leet Blog!
1. Most popular blog post
The coolest Pokemon
Pokemon is one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises, but which Pokemon is the coolest of all?
Let’s put power aside for a moment and judge them by looks alone. Here’s my dream team…
2. Funniest blog post
How More! Magazine made me look a twat
“Why do men love computer games?” was the question More pitted against me – Dom Sacco – earlier this month.
A 30-minute interview soon became: “Games help Dominic Sacco escape from the boring stuff in his life and his girlfriend.”
3. Sexiest blog post
Video: Meet the new Lara Croft
Gun holsters on thighs, knee-length boots, twin pistols and a typical British accent…
Lara Croft is back, but not as you know her. This is Alison Carroll, Eidos’ real-life model for the new Tomb Raider game, Tomb Raider Underworld.
4. Most important blog post
The future of gaming?
I was reading the London Paper the other day when I came across the article, “Mind control is Wii’s new brainwave.”
Check out this footage of some über-geek reinventing the Wiimote.
5. Weirdest blog post
The world’s weirdest game: Noby Noby Boy
Noby Noby Boy is by far the weirdest game I’ve seen.
Watch the video to see some of the most random gameplay ever created.
What do you think of the blog? What would you like to see more of?
