The world’s weirdest game: Noby Noby Boy

Noby Noby Boy

Noby Noby Boy is by far the weirdest game I’ve seen.

Watch the video to see some of the most random gameplay ever created.

Noby Noby  Boy has just been released on the PlayStation 3’s PSN Network for download – and my God, is this game weird.

It’s so strange in fact, that word doesn’t do it justice. Calling it weird is like calling David Dickinson “a little bit tanned.”

I would attempt to describe the object of the game – but I’ll leave that horrendous task to Eurogamer, who’ve just reviewed it.

In a nutshell you’re a ‘boy’ who can stretch, float around and digest objects in randomly constructed worlds.

Apparently ‘noby’ stems from the Japanese word ‘nobinobi,’ which means “relaxed, free, and without worry,” “open-minded” and “calm and without pretense.”

Whatever the game is about, it’s out now on PS3 and costs just £3.19 to download. And as weird as it seems, it has a certain charm and appeal which most new games don’t seem to have.

The video just makes me want to wander around and have a laugh – have a look for yourself.
